The USAT&F certified 5k course is a point to point course. It starts at Charles and Franklin Streets and proceeds South along the Parade route to Conway Street, East to Light Street, and South to Key Highway to a turn around point near Jackson Street. Return on Key Highway to North on Light Street to Pratt Street to Market Place (left turn). Finish on Market Place between Pratt and Lombard Streets at Power Plant Live. The race course is closed to bikes, skaters, and baby joggers/strollers.
Water will be provided on course and at the start and finish line. Splits provided at the one and two mile marks.
You should register by mail on online by March 10 in order to guarantee entry in the race. If pre-registered, pick up your packets, including race number, shirt, AMB timing chip, and other items on the following dates at these locations:

Cash awards to the top 3 men and women in the Open Division of $150, $125 and $100. In addition, $100 to the first man and woman in the Masters Division (40 & over). Age Group Awards (male and female) to 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. Awards are equal for men and women and will be awarded to the top three individuals in each of the age groups, dependent on the number of participants in each age group. There are no duplications. Prize Drawing: Your entry fee includes a chance to win one round trip ticket to Ireland (maximum value $500.00). You must be present to win.
All pre-registered runners will receive a GREEN Brooks Technical Tee (sizes and availability NOT guaranteed on race day or for late registration) and entry to the post race party that will include light refreshments, FREE Beer courtesy of Miller Lite, and live music.

Post race party and awards will be hosted by "Power Point Live!" located just north of the finish line at Market Place and Water Streets. All runners, 21 and over, can enjoy free beer at the finish line. All will need proper identification near the finish line. Other light refreshments/snacks will be provided. The awards ceremony and drawing for a round trip airline ticket to Ireland will be held during the party. Some reservation restrictions and blackout dates apply. You must be present to win.
From the North: I-83 (Jones Falls Expressway-JFX) south to the Guilford Avenue exit. Proceed on Guilford Avenue past Monument Street. You may park underneath the JFX between Monument and Centre Streets, or at a parking meter on Guilford Avenue (bring quarters).
From the South: Take Calvert Street north to Monument Street, turn right, proceed to Guilford Avenue, and follow directions above.
The Pier V Parking Garage is offering specials to all race participants. The Garage is located near the finish line at 711 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. Please see your Participant Registration Bag for coupons to receive discounted rates.
Timing and scoring of the race is by Charm City Run Events. Total results will be posted online by Monday, March 17 at www.charmcityrun.com. This is an AMB-IT Chip Timing race provided by Charm City Run. You must wear your AMB Timing Chip on your ankle or shoe, and you must return the Timing Chip at the finish line. A fee of $60 will be charged for any chip not returned. You cannot use a ChampionChip!
